NMQ to MRMS Update - August 2013
The products that have powered this web page and the web pages themselves are undergoing a major transition in August 2013.
The page that has traditionally been seen at this URL has moved to:
That page will continue to exist for the foreseeable future, but it will not show weather data any more current than July 31, 2013. It onlys acts on an data archive that is now 'frozen' in time.
The URL for the new web page will be simply:
The 'help' button on the lower portion of the left panel of that site is a place to look for additional information both now and in the future. Many capabilities of the old web tools can be found at this new location, but many others can not. In particular, anything involving precipitation gauges continues to languish. Major work is being done on the gauge stream and the good news is that when it is completed, data will be back-filled to about Aug 2, 2013. So for instance, recent heavy rains in the plains can be investigated. We regret the inconvenience and appreciate everyone's patience during this period. It is hoped significant gauge capability will return by the end of the week of Aug 12-16, 2013.
